Four ways to keep your production line running smoothly

Whether you need an urgent intervention, a component nobody else can find, or a machine rebuilt from the ground up, it all starts the same way: genuinely knowing the machine in front of you.

Who we are

Born inside the production of Tagliabue sanding machines

Tagliabue Machinery & Service comes directly from the people who built and commissioned Tagliabue sanding and calibrating machines. We are not a workshop that learned these machines from the outside: we have known them since the day they were built.

This changes the way we work: it lets us go straight to the heart of the problem, identify the right solution and act with the precision of people who know these machines in every detail.

About the company

Why TMS

The difference is made by the people who get their hands inside the machine

Diagnosis that gets to the point

We start from the problem you report, on the machine or on the finished part, to trace its cause and act precisely where it matters, instead of working by trial and error.

The right part, first time

We identify the right part from the machine model or from your photographs. We know every component of Tagliabue machines.

Downtime kept to a minimum

We plan the intervention around your production schedule and bring along the components most likely to be needed.

An investment worth defending

A solid mechanical base still has real value. Retrofitting brings your sanding machine up to date without the cost and the uncertainty of a new machine.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most

Does TMS only service Tagliabue sanding machines?

Tagliabue wide belt sanders, calibrating and brushing machines are our specialisation: we know the entire range, including machines built many years ago that are still running today. We also assess work on machines from other manufacturers, particularly where mechanical components or finishing quality issues are involved.

How do I know which spare part my machine needs?

The machine model and serial number are enough; photographs can help us with the assessment.

Is retrofitting better value than buying a new machine?

It depends on the condition of the bed and the load-bearing structure, which are the parts that age least. If the mechanical base is sound, retrofitting gives the sanding machine a new life for a smaller investment. If your production requirements have changed significantly and retrofitting is not the right choice, we look at a different product or solution together.

Do you sell used machines and take old ones back?

Yes, both. We refurbish sanding and calibrating machines in our workshop and supply them tested and ready to run; at the same time we assess and buy back used machines.
